Monica Parker, affectionately known as Sista Monica, is a show-stopping blues, R&B and soul singer hailing form Chicago. In 1993 she headlined the Great Ladies of the Blues Festival in Sacramento, California and appeared on the 1993, 1994 and 1995 Monterey Bay Blues Festivals. She has a CD entitled Get Out Of My Way. She sold out the 850 seat Catalyst in Santa Cruz, California ten times within one year.
