Euphonic Series Releases

Delmark Introduces it's Eurphonic Series, derived from music recorded or collected by Paul Affeldt, publisher of Jazz Report magazine.

Delmark recently acquired the master tapes and is proud to add titles to its catalog.

Of particular interest to BLUES WORLD is the CD Biddle Street Barrelhousin', Delmark DE-739 which features Speckled Red, Henry Brown, Stump Johnson, James Crutchfield (6 cuts!, with James "Bat The Hummingbird" Robinson on drums on some of them!) and Lawrence Henry. More than 70 minutes with 19 songs, 13 of which are previously unissued performances and descriptive notes by Bob Koester.
